Banquet

On Wednesday we will have a reception followed by a banquet at the Arrillaga Alumni Center. Be sure to wear your ID badge because that is your ticket. If you paid to bring a guest then you will receive a guest ticket when you register.

Getting there

It takes about 15 minutes to walk from LKSC to the banquet venue and you will have just under one hour to do so. That leaves a bit of time to walk through the quad and explore some parts of Stanford's campus.

Here is a grand walking tour that will take you past numerous campus landmarks (Engineering Quad, New Guinea Sculpture Garden, Bookstore, Memorial Church and main quad, Stanford Graduate School of Business) before arriving at the banquet venue. It clocks in at 47 Google minutes but the path has a few redundant blue dots, so maybe it is slightly shorter. If you're a few minutes late you will miss part of the reception, but not the banquet itself.

Here is a more direct route down Serra Mall that takes 16 Google minutes.

Another way is to go past the Rodin Sculpture Garden (and also by some construction). Lingering to chat there would be pretty nice. Once past the construction, the rest of the route is scenic. Here is the Rodin Sculpture Garden web page if you want to study up before getting there.
