Parking at Stanford University

As at many universities, parking is difficult at Stanford. If you did not pre-order one at registration time, it will not be possible to get a pass onsite. We have been given space in the Searsville lot. This lot is a 7 to 10 minute walk from LKSC. There is also a shuttle that comes by every 7 to 10 minutes. Here is a map connecting Searsville to LKSC.

If you are not familiar with the Stanford area we recommend doing a Google search on Searsville to orient yourself first. If you have purchased parking permits you can pick them up at the registration desk in LKSC during the Sunday afternoon tutorial session or from a Red Coat attendant in the Searsville lot before 10am.

Here are detailed Parking instructions for MCQMC. They advise getting there early, though we don't know if it is necessary. It may be prudent to do a Google search on `Parking near Stanford University' in order to identify a plan B. Your parking permits are also valid at the Hoover Pavillion though it is a bit of a hike (22 Google minutes) from there to LKSC.
