We will have tutorials on the afternoon of Sunday August 14, starting at 2pm in the Li Ka Shing Center. The schedule is in this booklet.

There are three tutorials in total.

First, there will be two one hour tutorials on quasi-Monte Carlo by Fred Hickernell and Pierre L'Ecuyer. They will introduce QMC for researchers new to the area as well as give the speakers' views on future directions for QMC.

Then we will have a special presentation by Richard Smith and Ilse Ipsen from SAMSI about their upcoming year on QMC for the 2017/18 academic year, and featuring a tutorial by Frances Kuo including her recent work on using QMC to solve engineering problems with PDEs.
